DNA Replication
DNA replication is a fast and accurate process. the responsible enzyme is DNA polymerase and other enzymes which begin the process of replication by adding nucleotides to the growing complementary strand of DNA. DNA replication occures over the following five steps:
1. Opening up the DNA double helix
2. Building a primer as new DNA can not be synthesized until a primer is constructed.
3.Assembling complementary strands
4.Removing the primer DNA polymerase carries out this step.
5. Joining of Okazaki fragments by DAN-ligase enzyme.
